Join us as an experienced Truck Driver/Operator in Ashburton! We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced and motivated truck driver and operator to join our Ashburton maintenance team to support the successful delivery of the recently secured Ashburton District Council Road Maintenance Contract. In this role, you’ll see yourself as an all-rounder, carrying out transport and operating duties around the Ashburton district. In addition to the above you will: Drive and operate trucks and machinery in a safe and professional manner. Operate a variety of machinery to complete maintenance activities, including rollers and loaders. Carry out truck driving duties, including transporting plant and equipment to and from site. Maintain trucks and equipment in a presentable condition and monitor truck maintenance. Ensure trucks and equipment comply with all transport regulations (e.g. current RUC, COF, Registration). We’re looking for someone with: Class 5 Drivers Licence with WTR endorsements. Previous experience in the road maintenance is preferred.
