Description Inter-Store Truck Driver Accountabilities Responsible for making sure the truck is loaded and secured properly. Responsible for vehicle maintenance, security and keeping the vehicle clean. Compliance with all D.O.T. requirements. Maintain driver qualification records and driving records. Keep all paperwork in the correct order and ensure that all transactions are documented. Make all deliveries on time while maintaining safe driving. Load and unload truck as required. Safely operate a forklift. Comply with all safety rules and company policies. Refuel vehicles in accordance with vehicle specifications. Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job. Coordinate with Manager for any changes that need to be done to Delivery schedule (mechanical issues/maintenance needed, weather delays, vacations and so on) Communicate with Manager if there is not enough space on truck so it can be decided which material is priority and what can stay Notify Manager if any expenses were made from the “Emergency Cash” allowance so the money can be expensed and refilled Other duties as assigned We look for team members who embody the following values and characteristics: Works with urgency and purpose to deliver quality products.
