DESIGNATION : Truck Driver

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:

  • Possess a valid Class 4 Singapore Driving Licence.
  • At least 1-2 years of truck driving experience in logistics or delivery operations preferred.
  • Familiarity with Singapore roads and traffic regulations.
  • Ability to safely operate and maneuver trucks in various road conditions.
  • Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge to perform daily checks and ensure roadworthiness.
  • Physical fitness with the ability to handle and lift items up to 20kg for extended periods.
  • Good time management and reliability to meet collection and delivery schedules.
  • Able to speak and write simple English to communicate with team members and complete documentation.

  • Strong sense of responsibility and commitment to workplace safety.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays if required.
  • A positive and team-oriented attitude to support operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
  • Perform assigned driving duties as directed by the Supervisor, ensuring timely and efficient transportation of goods.
  • Load and unload donated items safely at designated collection points and deliver them to Thrift Stores, Centres, or other assigned locations.
  • Assist in clearing donation bins at various locations when required.
  • Conduct daily vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness, cleanliness, and compliance with safety standards.
  • Maintain and update necessary vehicle checklists, mileage logs, and records for accountability.
  • Adhere to traffic regulations, workplace safety protocols, and operational guidelines to ensure smooth delivery operations.
  • Report any vehicle issues, delays, or operational challenges to the Supervisor promptly.
