With a pay range of $18 to $24 per hour (based on experience), plus excellent benefits, this position is for those who don’t mind a physically demanding role and take pride in paying attention to detail! Requirements Your Role: As a Truck Loader with Hartung Glass Industries, you will be the critical link that loads and offloads different types of glass products, ensuring every piece is handled safely and efficiently for timely delivery to our customers. What to Expect: This is a physical job—you’ll be handling and loading glass materials, so strength and endurance are a must! Requirements: Safely handle and load various types and sizes of glass products using appropriate tools and equipment (e.g., suction lifters, gloves, forklifts, A-frames). Move glass products from one area of the plant to another on carts. Inspect glass for defects or damage before loading. Secure glass using straps, padding, racks, and braces to prevent shifting or breakage during transportation. Assist drivers with verifying load accuracy and completing shipping paperwork. Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment as required (certification may be required). Adhere to all safety policies and procedures related to handling glass. Report any issues, damages, or hazards to the supervisor immediately. Excellent hand-eye coordination and basic math skills Ability to accurately read a tape measure May assist with unloading or warehouse duties as needed. Maintain a clean and organized loading area.
