TRUCK MECHANIC / LV FITTER - ROMA

We currently have a permanent position available for a Truck Mechanic/LV Fitter to join our team at our Roma Workshop. This is a full-time position available and a perfect opportunity to join a large, secure, reputable company.

We have over 160 field service units and the team at BDS cover over 600,000 km2 of Queensland and Western Australia meaning we’re never too far away.

• Diesel engine diagnostics & repair, major and minor rebuilds
• General Repairs/maintenance works – Trucks & Trailers/4×4’s, light vehicles
• Replacing vehicle engines, steering mechanisms, transmissions and braking systems
• Checking vehicle lighting systems
• Test driving vehicles to gauge performance
• Maintaining detailed records of serviced vehicles
• Adhering to an inspection procedure checklist
