Responsibilities of a Truck Sales Representative entail: Assist customers in selecting/ordering trucks by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses Use all reasonable methods of prospecting for new and used truck customers on a daily basis, either by telephone or by making calls to individuals and businesses outside the dealership Provide follow-up and ongoing service to existing customers Offer service to all walk-in and call-in customers on assigned floor days Demonstrate new and used trucks to customer which may include test drives Write complete and accurate sales orders, secure deposits, and process paperwork in accordance with established dealership policies Deliver new and used trucks, explaining all warranties and dealership after-sale services Study truck and equipment specifications on a continual basis to improve knowledge of product performance and application Appraise used trucks when necessary and complete Used Truck Inspection Report in accordance with company policy CIT Trucks, LLC. provides a comprehensive wage and benefits package that includes: Paid holidays and PTO Choice between 3 wide-ranging medical plans with prescription coverage Option to participate in HSA or FSA savings accounts Access to dental and vision insurance Short- and long-term disability coverage Company paid life insurance, as well as additional voluntary life insurance for self and family 401(k) retirement planning that has a dollar-for-dollar employer match up to 4% Requirements The requirements to be a Truck Sales Representative for CIT Trucks, LLC include: Associates or Bachelor's Degree preferred High School Diploma or GED required Must have a valid driver’s license Ability to obtain a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and DOT medical card Ability to learn equipment specifications and engineer products/components to customer needs Understanding of basic mathematics and business finance Agricultural or mechanical backgrounds have been proven beneficial
