Job Description The Truck Tire Assembly Lead Supervisor will: Be responsible for effectively coordinating all manufacturing activities throughout the department. Accountable for ensuring that shift meets organizational goals and objectives. (safety, quality, cost, volume, scrap, and customer satisfaction) Coordinates with Department Manager in setting goals and objectives for the shift. Implements strategy from the production manager and department managers to the shop floor supervisors. Coordinates all manufacturing activities to continuously improve workflow, work product, and employee and customer satisfaction across all departments. Communicates instructions and accurately report problem areas, and corrective action for department. Monitors employee progress in achieving assigned objectives and counsels or corrects as required. Effectively manage, coordinate, and communicate all activities such as Tire Engineering, Housekeeping, Safety/Security, Human Resources, Industrial Engineering, Production and Material Control, Process Engineering, Accounting/Finance, and Maintenance/Plant Engineering. Escalation of high-risk topics to the plant management. Perform other duties as directed by department manager. Ensure all ESH procedures, policies and legal requirements are implemented and monitored. NOTE: May not be inclusive of all work required and may be updated as needed. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED 3-5 years of Supervisor Experience. Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. Preferred Qualifications: Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in a Technical Field ENVIRONMENT Safety is our highest priority and safety procedures/ guidelines must be always adhered to. The job is within a non-climate controlled environment where you will be exposed to temperature swings (hot/cold), forklift and pedestrian traffic, and noise. The role involves various physical tasks, including lifting, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and operating machinery, with comprehensive training provided.
