Over time, it has transformed into a growing transportation provider. We are seeking a highly skilled Claims Estimator with specialized expertise in semi-tractor and trailer appraisals. This role requires a strong technical background, attention to detail, and the ability to manage claims independently and efficiently. Schedule: Monday to Saturday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Responsibilities: Conduct detailed appraisals of commercial vehicles, including semi-tractors and trailers. Verify all unit options to ensure accurate valuation. Estimate repair costs using industry-standard software (CCC One, Audatex, Mitchell, or AdjustRite). Document vehicle damage through high-quality photography. Negotiate and finalize claims in alignment with insurance policies and procedures. Manage multiple claims simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and timeliness. Travel frequently to inspect vehicles and meet with stakeholders. Bachelor’s degree in law, Business Administration, or related field (preferred). Minimum 3 years of experience managing transportation or heavy equipment claims. Strong knowledge of commercial vehicle construction, repair processes, and parts, as well as inland marine claims (semi-truck and trailer). Proficiency in heavy equipment estimating software and solid understanding of insurance policies, claims workflows, and accident protocols. Advanced math for cost calculations, intermediate to advanced English (suitable for international negotiations), and strong communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution abilities.
