Description TRUCK WASH LABORER Department: Fleet & Maintenance Location: Long Beach Shop Classification: Full-Time, Non-Exempt Reports To Shop Supervisor Position Summary Ecology Auto Parts Inc., a leading transportation services company in Cerritos, CA, is currently seeking a dedicated Truck Wash Laborer to join our dynamic team. As a Truck Wash Laborer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our transportation fleet. Your attention to detail and commitment to excellence will contribute to upholding our high standards of quality and professionalism. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning and washing of trucks, trailers, and other fleet vehicles. Utilize power washers, brushes, and cleaning agents to remove dirt, grime, and contaminants. Inspect vehicles for cleanliness and report any issues or damages to the supervisor. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks. Adhere to safety procedures and environmental regulations while handling cleaning chemicals. Maintain cleanliness of the wash area and storage of cleaning equipment. Assist in coordinating with other maintenance staff to prioritize and schedule wash tasks. Physical demands include lifting, pushing, pulling, and bending to ensure proper cleaning of vehicles. Works under moderate supervision. Compensation and Benefits The Truck Wash Laborer position offers an hourly rate of $17 per hour.
