Description POSITION SUMMARY: Maintain a clean fleet of trucks and trailers by conducting regular washing and detailing help with oil and tire changes. REPORTS TO: Service Shop Supervisor SUPERVISES: N/A ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Utilize water, cleaning agents, pressure washers, scrubbers, etc. to maintain a clean fleet. Washing the outside of trucks. Detailing the inside of trucks. Filling out sheets to report missing required documents for the safety department. Reporting excessive damage/filth to management. Regular and timely attendance are an expectation of the position. Follow the 5S foundations for deploying lean production tools and processes. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: High school diploma preferred but not required. Forklift experience preferred. Pressure washing experience is a plus. COMPETENCIES: Self-starter that takes initiative. Strong interpersonal, communication and organization skills. Ability to multitask and adhere to deadlines. Requirements PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT: Physical Activity: Talking, hearing, repetitive motion, stooping, crouching, standing, walking, lifting, and climbing stairs. Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time. Must be able to work safely in a noisy area with many odors present. Visual Acuity: Ability to operate machinery and determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned.
