As we continue to grow and expand, we are hiring Diesel and Alignment Technicians at Blaine Brothers TruckAline. We are looking for someone who is detail oriented, has mechanical aptitude (experience as a truck mechanic preferred), and has a strong work ethic. SCHEDULES: Monday-Friday, 2nd Shift, 3pm-12am Job Duties: • Provide leadership and direction to the technicians • Evaluate technician’s skillset and provide training as needed. • Assist technicians in locating parts / job related issues • Schedule shift work • Call in customer repairs and approvals/ unit updates • Organize shift with parts to pick up and vehicles for repair • Invoice repair orders in a timely manner • Source parts and part quotes • Create accurate estimates for customers • Related activities that promote the goals of the Organization. Work Experience Requirements: • Repair and shop operation knowledge with a strong technical aptitude • Strong communication skills – both verbally and written • Ability to train technicians at varying levels of experience, skillset and learning styles • Able to receive feedback on operations from peers, subordinates and manager and respond in a productive and constructive manner with a focus on solutions •Strong problem-solving skills Requirements Skills: • Critical Thinking - Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems. • Speaking - Talking to others to convey information effectively. • Active Listening - Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times. • Complex Problem Solving - Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions. • Reading Comprehension - Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents. • Coordination - Adjusting actions in relation to others' actions. Responsibilities
The Service Advisor will provide leadership and direction to technicians, evaluate skillsets, and assist them with locating parts or resolving job-related issues. Key duties also involve scheduling shift work, communicating repair updates and approvals to customers, and organizing the shift logistics for parts pickup and vehicle repair.
