JOB DESCRIPTION:

Speedy Transport is seeking a dedicated Truckload Logistics Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. As a pivotal member of our sales force, you will drive business growth by identifying and securing new customers in the third-party logistics (3PL) sector. Your expertise in logistics and transportation will be crucial in delivering tailored solutions to meet client needs and expanding our market presence.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the logistics or transportation industry.
  • Strong knowledge of 3PL brokerage and logistics services.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with clients and carriers.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently.

Pay: $50,000.00-$75,000.00 per year

Responsibilities:

  • Identify potential clients through market research, networking, and referrals.
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of prospective customers.
  • Act as a 3PL broker, connecting shippers with carriers to ensure efficient and cost-effective transportation solutions.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets by closing new business deals and expanding existing accounts.
  • Analyze market data to identify new opportunities for growth and areas for improvement.
  • Work closely with internal teams (operations, customer service, finance) to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management review.
  • Collaborate with marketing to develop promotional materials and campaigns that support sales efforts.
