Job Details Job Location: Cincinnati, OH 45241 Salary Range: $21.50 - $21.50 Hourly Job Title: Truss Assembler – 2nd Shift Department: Manufacturing / Production Shift: 2nd Shift (typically evenings) Reports To: Production Supervisor Position Summary Nisbet Brower is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Truss Assembler to join our 2nd shift production team. This position is responsible for assembling wood trusses according to engineered specifications while maintaining Nisbet Brower’s standards for safety, quality, and productivity. The ideal candidate is a team player who can work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and is committed to continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Assemble roof and floor trusses using lumber, metal connector plates, and power tools according to design specifications Read and interpret truss drawings, production tickets, and work instructions Operate hand tools, pneumatic tools, saws, and other manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently Ensure trusses meet quality standards and report defects or issues to supervision Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with company and OSHA standards Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals and deadlines Follow all Nisbet Brower safety policies and procedures Perform other duties as assigned to support production needs Qualifications Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred Previous manufacturing, construction, or truss assembly experience is a plus, but not required Ability to read measurements and perform basic math Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Strong attention to detail and quality Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures Schedule & Compensation 2nd Shift hours (evening shift; exact hours determined by location) Competitive hourly wage with shift differential Overtime opportunities as needed Benefits Nisbet Brower offers a comprehensive benefits package that may include: Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid time off and holidays Career growth and training opportunities
