TRUSS ASSEMBLER

Specialists in wood roof trusses, floor joist, and engineered products for residential, commercial, and agriculture construction projects, Island Structural Systems Inc. is looking for a dynamic person to fill the position of TRUSS ASSEMBLER.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience using tape measure, hammer, and power tools is required

  • Assemble roof trusses and floor joist including setting up production table
  • Lift, gather and move lumber, connector plates, and other materials
  • Skilled operator to safely and accurately operate highly technical machinery
  • Lift, gather and move lumber, and other materials
  • Responsible for basic maintenance on equipment
  • Maintain a clean and tidy work environment
  • Accepts other duties as assigned by the Supervisor
  • Operate other equipment as required
