Description:
TRUSS ASSEMBLER
Specialists in wood roof trusses, floor joist, and engineered products for residential, commercial, and agriculture construction projects, Island Structural Systems Inc. is looking for a dynamic person to fill the position of TRUSS ASSEMBLER.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to work steadily in a fast-paced environment, multi-task, and meet deadlines
- Able to do physical work in varying temperatures

- Experience using tape measure, hammer, and power tools is required

Responsibilities:
- Assemble roof trusses and floor joist including setting up production table
- Lift, gather and move lumber, connector plates, and other materials
- Skilled operator to safely and accurately operate highly technical machinery
- Lift, gather and move lumber, and other materials
- Responsible for basic maintenance on equipment
- Maintain a clean and tidy work environment
- Accepts other duties as assigned by the Supervisor
- Operate other equipment as required
