Description Midwest Trust Company is a full-service wealth management institution offering complete trust services in the areas of personal trust administration, estate planning, investment management, retirement and investment planning, and profit sharing and 401(k) programs. If you are dedicated, disciplined, and client-focused, we have an opportunity for you to join our firm as a Trust Administrative Assistant in our Vancouver, WA office. Our Trust Assistants support one or more Personal Trust Administrators in the management of trust accounts. Specific duties include the following: · Opening and closing trust accounts · Updating and maintaining trust account records · Paying bills and transferring funds · Facilitating proper and timely transfers of trust account assets · Handling routine questions from clients · Delivering outstanding customer service · Opening mail and answering the telephone · Adhering to all internal and external regulatory requirements, standards, guidelines, policies and procedures · May attend client meetings with the Personal Trust Administrator · Regular attendance is a requirement of this job Our ideal candidate... · Has a Bachelor's degree in a business-related field, or equivalent experience · Has 1 to 3 years of trust administrative experience · Experience with Life Insurance is a plus · Meets client needs and expectations · Is proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint · Completes assignments accurately with attention to detail · Prioritizes work and completes assignments on time · Handles confidential information with discretion · Dresses and acts professionally · Has knowledge of spelling and grammar · Communicates effectively in both oral and written form · Has experience with SunGard Addvantage Benefits We offer a competitive benefits package designed to support the health, financial well-being, and long-term success of our employees.
