Description

Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust have a vacancy for a Trust Specialty Registrar in Anaesthetics & ICM starting 06/08/2025 until 04/08/2026 for a Fixed Term 12 month contract.
Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust are seeking Anaesthetic and ICM Trust registrars to join our rapidly expanding ACSA-accredited Anaesthetic and Critical Care department. It is anticipated that the postholder will have a minimum of 2 years anaesthetic experience, including basic competency in ICM. The post is designed to give invaluable experience especially in Intensive Care and the programme can be arranged to suit the requirements of the applicant. It would be suitable for those aiming to ‘top-up’ skills and knowledge prior to commencing Specialty Training in Anaesthesia or Intensive Care Medicine.
All Applicants MUST hold a FULL GMC Registration with a Licence to Practice in the UK.
We anticipate this to be a popular post and the advert may closer earlier that advertised. Therefore early applications are encoruaged.
Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust is a split site NHS Trust which provides anaesthetic and critical care services at High Wycombe and Stoke Mandeville Hospitals. The successful applicants will be expected to work across both sites for daytime activity, although out-of-hours work will be based at either SMH or WH for the duration of the 12-month post.
These are replacement posts which have been created to meet the increasing demands upon the Anaesthetic and Critical Care Department in recent years and to accommodate a 1:10 person out-of-hours rota.
Please review the JD/PS for further information on this role.
