This is a great opportunity for an entry-level candidate to begin a career in the legal field and join a growing Trusts, Estates, and Private Wealth team and gain exposure to fiduciary matters, family businesses, succession planning, and private wealth administration. This role provides hands-on experience supporting attorneys who guide families through multi-generational planning, asset stewardship, and complex estate structures, offering an excellent foundation for a career in private wealth law. Requirements Essential responsibilities of the position will include: • Organizing, tracking, and maintaining original documents and electronic files in PerfectLaw • Running conflict checks and assisting with matter intake procedures • Scheduling meetings, deadlines, and maintaining attorney calendars • Tracking deadlines and the status of tasks and documents requiring action by clients/prospective clients • Assisting with management of multiple projects and milestone tracking. • Uploading and downloading client and case-related documents through online portals • Administrative operations such as trust deposits, check requests, expense reimbursements • Remitting Bush Ross bills to clients for payment and follow-up • Compiling closing binders and legal documents for transmission to clients Ideal candidates for this position will possess the following qualifications: • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a professional office environment • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Must be a self-starter, professional, team player with a pleasant demeanor • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously • Familiarity with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook • Ability to work overtime if needed
Responsibilities
Provide administrative support to the Trusts, Estates, and Private Wealth Practice Group by managing electronic files and attorney calendars. Handle matter intake, client billing, and the compilation of closing binders for legal transmission.
