ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Trusts Manager to join our Private Client division in our Kidderminster office. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who is confident managing a broad range of trust matters and delivering an exceptional standard of client care. You will take ownership of trust files from start to finish and play a key role in supporting and developing the Trusts team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage a caseload of trust matters from inception to completion, ensuring legal compliance and excellent communication throughout.
• Liaise with beneficiaries, trustees, legal professionals, accountants, and external advisors.
• Handle trust-related tax issues including:
• Inheritance Tax (IHT)
• Capital Gains Tax (CGT)
• Income Tax
• Register trusts and prepare annual trust accounts and estate tax returns.
• Manage investments of trust funds and oversee the liquidation of trust assets.
• Support and guide colleagues within the Trusts team, assisting with training, workflow management, and best practices.
