Description
Description The SSM will act as the on-site Government representative performs quality control and contractor surveillance to ensure the project meets the security standards relative to design and implementation as outlined in the project’s construction documents and construction security plan (CSP) and in compliance with ICD/ICS 705. The SSM is responsible for implementation and oversight of access control, intrusion detection, material transit security procedures, material selection, procurement, and inspection. The SSM will ensure the construction site remains secure throughout the construction process and documents security violations and deviations from plans and standards reports. The SSM will report all security construction information directly to GSA and project security officer (SO). The on-site work is expected to begin in January or February of 2026 and continue for a period of one year. The period between award and start of work will allow for the individual resume to be supplied to GSA for approval, HSPD-12 clearance and initial project specific training (approximately 1 week leading into the start of construction). Requirements ? Current/Active Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance. ? Must be able to maintain a neat and orderly appearance. ? Must be able to pass a criminal background check
