Description
Coordinating compliance with customs regulations and ensuring all documentation is accurate and submitted on time. Coordinating with customs officials and regulatory bodies to address any issues. Managing inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely and efficient delivery. Working together with shipping partners and warehouse teams to improve logistics processes. Assisting in the optimization of logistics strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Participating in subcontracting activities while ensuring adherence to GST/SST and customs fees. Occasionally participating in loading, unloading, sorting, and packing tasks. Ensure all activities strictly align with Malaysian Customs regulations for LMW and FIZ. Prepare and submit customs documents, permits, and licenses punctually. Collaborate with customs officers to address inquiries and ensure smooth operations. Manage both incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure timely and flawless deliveries. Collaborate daily with shipping companies and warehouse teams to improve logistics. Ensure adherence to subcontracting regulations, including GST/SST and customs fees. Assist in the implementation of new logistics policies and evaluate their efficiency. Provide solutions to minor logistical issues as they arise, ensuring seamless operations. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field. A minimum of 5 years' experience in logistics or trade compliance, particularly within manufacturing or industrial roles. Fundamental understanding of Malaysian Customs regulations, particularly LMW and FIZ documentation. Experience with GTT and ERP software (such as SAP), and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Demonstrated teamwork, attention to detail, and time management abilities. Holding a certification in Customs or Trade Compliance is beneficial. Fundamental understanding of global shipping, HTS, and Incoterms.
