GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Are you an experienced Paralegal with experience in investments, including private equity, hedge funds, and venture capital?
The TTSTC Legal Department is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Paralegal. This is a unique opportunity to join a collegial, and supportive legal team working in a dynamic environment at the intersection of law, finance, and public service. Our fast-paced environment offers exciting opportunities to work on sophisticated investment transactions supporting the legal team, while contributing to the financial security of the State of Texas. We value collaboration, innovation, and professional growth while achieving our mission to preserve and grow the state’s financial resources by competitively managing and investing them over $150 billion in state assets. The ideal candidate will have significant experience with limited partnership agreements, side letters, and subscription documents. This role is critical to ensuring the smooth operation of TTSTC’s investment process. In this role, you will support the TTSTC Legal Department acting as a key liaison with internal and external teams, reviewing, analyzing, and preparing private investment documents, and supporting the legal team in contract negotiations, among other tasks.
