TTT – Senior ServiceNow Developer – Tax Senior EY’s GDS Tax Technology team’s mission is to develop, implement and integrate technology solutions that better serve our clients and engagement teams. As a member of EY’s core Tax practice, you’ll develop a deep tax technical knowledge and outstanding database, data analytics and programming skills. Ever-increasing regulations require tax departments to gather, organize and analyse more data than ever before. Often the data necessary to satisfy these ever-increasing and complex regulations must be collected from a variety of systems and departments throughout an organization. Effectively and efficiently handling the variety and volume of data is often extremely challenging and time consuming for a company. EY's GDS Tax Technology team members work side-by-side with the firm's partners, clients and tax technical subject matter experts to develop and incorporate technology solutions that enhance value-add, improve efficiencies and enable our clients with disruptive and market leading tools supporting Tax. GDS Tax Technology works closely with clients and professionals in the following areas: Federal Business Tax Services, Partnership Compliance, Corporate Compliance, Indirect Tax Services, Human Capital, and Internal Tax Services. GDS Tax Technology provides solution architecture, application development, testing and maintenance support to the global TAX service line both on a pro-active basis and in response to specific requests. EY is currently seeking an Senior ServiceNow Developer to join our Tax Technology practice in Bangalore, India. Key Functions: Module with ITSM, Custom application, integration, Service Portal, CSM are the recommended. Work as part of an agile team developing, designing, and implementing new application modules, workflows, and Catalog requests Build custom applications in ServiceNow by defining data tables, user interface and adding business logic Strong understanding of ServiceNow Development Platform including, but not limited to, ITSM, Contract management, Resource management, ITFM CMDB, Asset Management, Change Management, Custom Development, etc. Integration with 3rd party application, working experience in scripted REST API, SOAP etc. Must have worked on ServiceNow version upgrade. Experience in developing the Application functionalities using HTML, CSS and Angular JS. Experience in designing and development of UI using ServiceNow. Experience in ServiceNow Widgets, Client-side scripting, Server-side scripting and ITSM modules Customize ServiceNow applications and facilitate rollout of new applications and modules and configure Application UI and configure workflow Collaborate effectively with other ServiceNow administrators to develop solutions and handle general updates and configuration changes/requests Identify system deficiencies and recommend solutions. Troubleshoot production problems related to ServiceNow custom applications. Address problems of system integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms Ensure the latest release of ServiceNow application is implemented in a timely manner with minimal or no disruption to IT operations Maintenance and continuous improvement of the processes, standards, policies, working methods, and tools Ensure appropriate tools and processes are in place to have a development/production environment that is reliable and reproducible Ensure tool configuration consistency across development, stage, testing, sandbox, and production environments Participate in ongoing production support and end user support Ability to estimate work effort requirements efficiently and appropriately Assist in the evaluation and recommendation of application software packages, application integration and testing tools Very Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Suggested technical certification ServiceNow admin certification Micro Certifications in ServiceNow concepts are advantageous Implementation specialist or Application Developer Certifications are advantageous Hands on day-to-day management of multiple ServiceNow instances, including managing major releases and patches, managing the SDLC release processes and implementing code into the platform to solve ever-changing needs. Minimum 3-5 years of coding, testing and implementing ServiceNow as a technical resource. Proficient using SOAP UI or other tools to test SOAP/REST Web Service APIs Strong working knowledge of enterprise integration architecture and enterprise application Experience developing workflows, Business Rules, ACLS, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, Date Policies, UI Actions, and table extension in ServiceNow.
