This role produces precision tubular components and assemblies to tight tolerances while ensuring quality, efficiency, and adherence to engineering specifications. ---------------------------------------- KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Set up and operate CNC and/or manual machining equipment within a tube fabrication cell environment * Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions * Load raw tubing materials and secure fixtures, tooling, and work-holding devices * Perform machine setups including tooling changes, offsets, and adjustments as needed * Machine tubular components to precise tolerances and specifications * Inspect parts using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.) * Perform in-process and final quality inspections to ensure compliance with GD&T and customer requirements * Troubleshoot machining issues and make minor adjustments to maintain quality and production flow * Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to resolve non-conformances * Maintain clean, organized, and safe work area following 5S standards * Perform basic preventative maintenance and report equipment issues promptly ---------------------------------------- REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS * High school diploma or equivalent required * Experience in machining, CNC operation, or tube fabrication strongly preferred * Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical specifications * Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail * Experience using precision measuring instruments * Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment * Basic understanding of machining principles, tooling, and setup practices * Commitment to safety and quality standards ---------------------------------------- PREFERRED EXPERIENCE * CNC machining experience in a production or cell environment * Experience working with tube bending, forming, or fabrication equipment * Exposure to aerospace, automotive, or industrial manufacturing environments * Familiarity with GD&T and quality inspection processes ---------------------------------------- WORK ENVIRONMENT * Manufacturing floor / production cell environment * Exposure to machinery, noise, lubricants, and metal fabrication processes * May require standing for extended periods and lifting materials as needed * Shift work may be required based on production needs Ready for steady hours and strong paychecks?
