Responsibilities
  • To plan and control on behalf the client inspection, including: The preparation of a Scope of Work , Inspection cycles , Methods of inspection to be used , The requirements for service preparation , Safety aspects , Other relevant matters
  • Presenting high quality reports and maintain effective communication with the client to carry out all functions, in accordance with NDE Solutions procedures and the terms of our NATA or relevant registrations.
  • Monitor the quality of the work and reporting for the project to ensure that it is completed to the work scope, and within the client’s time frame and budget.
  • Provide technical leadership in those fields in which he is recognised by NATA or relevant registrations.
  • Keep abreast of new technologies and develop enhancements to our existing range of services.
  • Completion of inspection & testing in accordance within the codes and procedure requirements.
  • Provide accurate and prompt condition reporting identifying any necessary remedial work required before the equipment is placed into service or at the next equipment inspection or service.
  • Provide business improvement through identification of opportunities for better ways of delivering our services.
  • To maintain a detailed knowledge of applicable standards and codes and manufacturing processes.
  • To comply with the codes, procedures and our operating systems
  • For reports to be completed as part of each job and finalised prior to commencing the next job. No reports to be issued without undergoing a quality review to ensure they are technically correct.
  • To respond to client timeframes and requirements promptly and keep client informed of job progress in a timely and courteous manner.
  • To ensure equipment is calibrated and maintained in a serviceable condition.
  • To report equipment malfunctions or problems promptly to Supervisor for attention.
  • Work within the Companies QHSE Management System and assist in continuous improvement
  • Work within the Company’s and Government Statutory Safety Systems / Requirements
  • Liaison directly with clients on requirements.
  • Ensure that Inspection equipment is calibrated and in a serviceable condition before use and when stored
  • Prepare work worksheets and reports for tests that they are certified or proficient.
  • Perform other duties that are within their ability and knowledge
  • Responsible for ensuring that due care is exercised at all times in the handling of test items to prevent mechanical damage, corrosion, misuse, abuse, deterioration, inadvertent mixing or loss of items
  • Responsible for highlighting to management whenever the condition of test items is considered likely to affect the test results

  • Responsible for identifying non-conformances and suggesting improvement opportunities and for suggesting preventive actions when they identify a potential nonconformance
  • Responsible for confirming that only current versions of quality system documents are used on the job and for identifying and suggesting needed changes as appropriate.
  • Participate in all Pre-start meetings and provide constructive feedback for the continuous improvement of the organisation
