Description JOB TITLE: Tubing Hill Attendant REPORTS TO: Adventure Center Manager JOB SUMMARY: This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who enjoy working outdoors in a beautiful alpine setting and thrive in guest-facing roles. As a Snow Tubing Attendant, you will play a key role in creating memorable guest experiences by ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the tubing hill. Primary responsibilities include assisting guests with waiver processing, loading/unloading the tubing lift, overseeing tubing lane activity, managing crowd control, and supporting the maintenance and cleanliness of the tubing area. Other job duties of the position include, but are not limited to: PRIMARY DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS: · Provide courteous, professional service to all guests, ensuring a positive and memorable experience. · Greet each guest warmly and assist with questions regarding tubing operations and Skytop Lodge amenities. · Operating the tubing lift in compliance with established safety protocols and procedures. · Assist guests with loading and unloading of the lift and ensure proper spacing and dispatch down tubing lanes. · Monitor guest activity at the base and top of the hill to ensure safety and efficiency. · Ensure all guests complete required liability waivers prior to participation. · Maintain order and manage crowd flow during high-traffic periods. · Perform routine maintenance of the tubing area, including snow and ice removal through shoveling and raking. · Assist with daily setup and breakdown of tubing operations, including signage, fencing, and equipment. · Identify and report any hazards, maintenance issues, or safety concerns to supervisors promptly. · Uphold all departmental policies and standard operating procedures. · Support team members and contribute to a collaborative, guest-focused work environment. · Participate in closing procedures and ensure the tubing area is secure and organized at the end of each shift. Because of various seasonal requirements, jobs in other areas of the resort may be offered as a replacement for this position to include work in other areas e.g. grounds maintenance, housekeeping, kitchen, etc. Requirements SKILLS REQUIRED: · Ability to read, write, and comprehend instructions in English· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.· Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.· Physically capable of performing outdoor work for extended periods in variable weather conditions.· Ability to lift, carry, and handle equipment as needed (shovels, signage, tubing gear, etc.).· Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as scheduled.· Valid driver’s license required.· Previous experience in a guest services or outdoor recreation role is preferred, but not required. Training will be provided. PERSONALITY REQUIREMENTS: Positive attitude and a proactive approach to guest service.
