Overview The Tubing Park Operator is responsible for the efficient loading and unloading of the lift’s passengers. Other responsibilities include guest relations, ticket security, crowd control, completion of operation logs, monitoring of drive and tension terminal machinery, correct handling of emergency situations, and the performance of assigned tasks not necessarily related to this specific job, but essential to the successful operation of the resort. Come work and play at Seattle’s home mountain, The Summit at Snoqualmie. Located an hour from Seattle, at the junction where the Pacific Crest Trail crosses Interstate 90. With summer activities ramping up with spectacular Mountain Biking trails and Scenic Lift Rides, there is a lot to do all year long. Responsibilities Job duties may include, but are not limited to: Carry out lift start up procedures. Procedures include checking of drive and return terminal machinery, stops, speed controls, indicator lights, switches, brakes, etc. Ensure guests get themselves and their gear on lift safely by assisting in loading onto moving surface and explaining procedures to inexperienced passengers. Maintain an orderly crowd flow in the lift and lane lines. Ensure all guests have and are wearing the proper ticket. Aid guests getting off the lift by watching guests exit the lift and give assistance to those who need it. Wage and Benefit Info: The wage range for this positions is: from $21.50-$23.55/hr This is a non-benefited role. All individuals may contribute to the 401(k). An employee must work 1,000 hours in a calendar year to qualify for the discretionary match (there is a 2-year vesting cliff). All individuals accrue sick time at 1 hour per 40 hours worked to a maximum of 64 hours per year. All Team Members may participate in our Ally Heath benefit.
