Description Tubing employees are responsible for the overall quality of the material and preparing it for shipment. Maintains a clean and safe environment for all workers. Read entire contract and understand the put-up requirements. Ensure correct speed, tension and brake are followed. Contacts appropriate sources for repair issues. Measure and accurately record widths and yardage. Evaluates the condition of production equipment. Complete initial training. Understand what is on the machine. Does not engage in use of personal phone on the floor. Stays at workstation and attentive to work. Records downtime. Requirements Active learning - Understanding the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision making. Active Listening - Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate and not interrupting at inappropriate times. Critical thinking - Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems. Learning Strategies - Selecting and using training/instructional methods and procedures appropriate for the situation when leaning or teaching new things.
