SUMMARY: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tufting Machine Operator to join our production team. This high-energy, fast-paced role plays a crucial part in ensuring the efficient production of high-quality carpet. The ideal candidate will be committed to maintaining quality control standards, working collaboratively with the team, and contributing to a positive and productive work environment. RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES  * Operate Tufting machine (threading and/or replacing needles, cutting blades, aligning cutting blade block, hook replacement). * Repair yarn breaks in beams with splicer. * Conduct machine setup checks. * Perform quality inspections during production runs and mend voids as required. * Proactively identify unsafe working, building, and other environmental conditions. * Maintain and properly use tools of the job. * Maintain a clean work area. * Promote a positive work environment attitude. ESSENTIAL SKILLS & ABILITY * Previous experience operating tufting machines is preferred. * Ability to detect and address potential defects or issues in product quality. * Ability to read and interpret production orders and specifications. * Strong understanding of machine operations, including troubleshooting and minor repairs. * Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a high-energy production environment. * Ability to use a splice gun effectively to repair yarn breaks.  ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:  * Prior experience with tufting machine operations in a manufacturing setting preferred. * Knowledge of cutting processes, yarn types, and machine maintenance. * Ability to follow production orders and adhere to quality standards. * High school diploma or equivalent required.   REQUIREMENTS & WORK ENVIRONMENT * Must be able to remain on your feet for extended periods throughout the shift. * perform manual tasks that include lifting, carrying, and pushing materials weighing up to 50 lbs. * Exposure to moving mechanical parts, noise, dust, and variable temperatures within a manufacturing environment. * Must be comfortable using tufting machines and related tools, such as splice guns, and be able to perform general maintenance tasks.
Responsibilities
The Tufting Operator will operate tufting machines, perform quality inspections, and maintain a clean work area. They will also proactively identify unsafe conditions and contribute to a positive work environment.
