OVERVIEW

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a love for dance and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment for students of all ages. As an in our tuition and performing arts school, you will work closely with the director and dance teacher to support the development of learners and dancers, ensuring they receive high-quality instruction and encouragement.

SKILLS

  • Strong teaching skills with the ability to communicate effectively with students of different ages and abilities.
  • A love for children and the willingness to support them during tuition and performing arts classes.
  • Patience, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude towards teaching and mentoring.
  • Excellent organisational skills to manage class schedules, events, and student progress.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
  • Previous experience in coaching or teaching dance and tuition is an advantage but not essential; a willingness to learn is key. Join us in inspiring the next generation of dancers!
    Job Type: Part-time
    Pay: £12.21-£14.00 per hour
    Expected hours: 5 per week

Responsibilities
  • Assist in planning and delivering engaging maths and literacy classes that cater to various skill levels.
  • Assist the performing arts teacher during lessons
  • Welcome parents in to entre and provide feedback
  • Help organise and prepare for dance recitals, competitions, and other events.
  • Maintain a safe and supportive environment for all participants.
  • Collaborate with the director/ dance teacher to develop lesson plans that align with the centre’s goals.
  • Foster teamwork and camaraderie among students, encouraging them to support one another in their dance/ tuition journey.
  • Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required.
