The Role Surbana Jurong is seeking an experienced Tunnel Specialist to support the design and supervision of water and irrigation infrastructure projects. The role will focus on the design and technical assessment of underground and hydraulic structures, ensuring engineering solutions meet international standards and support the safe and efficient delivery of water infrastructure systems. Key Responsibilities Provide technical expertise in the design of tunnels and underground hydraulic structures. Prepare technical analyses, calculations, and engineering design documentation. Support the design of hydraulic structures such as tunnels, galleries, inverted syphons, aqueducts, and associated infrastructure. Ensure compliance with international engineering standards and project specifications. Provide technical input during design review and construction supervision stages. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to support project delivery. Key Qualifications and Experience Master’s degree or equivalent in Hydraulic Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline. Minimum 10 years of general professional experience. At least 8 years of experience in the design of similar-sized projects and hydraulic structures, including tunnels, galleries, inverted syphons, aqueducts, and related structures. Minimum 3 years of international project experience outside the country of origin.
