Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tunnels Manager (Roads O&M) to join our team in Doha, Qatar. As a key member of our infrastructure management division, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations and maintenance of road tunnels, ensuring their safety, efficiency, and longevity. Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance strategies for road tunnels Oversee daily operations and maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments to identify potential issues and implement preventive measures Manage and optimize tunnel systems, including ventilation, lighting, fire safety, and traffic management Lead and mentor a team of engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of continuous improvement Collaborate with stakeholders, including government agencies and contractors, to ensure project success Develop and manage budgets for tunnel operations and maintenance projects Implement and maintain quality control systems to ensure the highest standards of tunnel operations Stay updated on industry trends and technologies, recommending and implementing innovations as appropriate Prepare and present regular reports on tunnel performance, maintenance activities, and safety metrics Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in tunnel operations and maintenance Proven track record in managing large-scale infrastructure projects In-depth knowledge of tunnel systems, infrastructure, and maintenance practices Strong understanding of safety protocols and risk management in tunnel operations Outstanding leadership and team management abilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Familiarity with international standards and best practices in tunnel management Understanding of local regulations and environmental considerations in Qatar Relevant certifications in tunnel operations and safety (preferred) Additional Information
