Positions Supervised: Turbine Operators POSITION SUMMARY: This position involves close collaboration with Gas Turbine Operators to strategize, coordinate, and implement services related to gas turbines. Responsibilities include aiding in the planning and execution of projects, ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of gas turbine packages, and supporting the team in all activities relative to achieving operational excellence. The individual in this role is expected to contribute to the enhancement of service delivery, demonstrating a commitment to quality and efficiency in all aspects of gas turbine operations. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (The following duties and responsibilities are all essential job functions, as defined by the ADA, except for those that begin with the word "may.") Engages actively in company safety initiatives, encompassing daily programs such as written documentation, observations, Job Safety Analyses (JSAs), etc. Adheres strictly to policies and procedures to safeguard the well-being of all employees and promote operational excellence. Reports, diagnoses, and executes essential repairs on malfunctioning equipment in addition to assessing the operational readiness of gas turbines and associated equipment. Collaborates in the planning of generation reciprocating and turbine equipment on third-party vendor sites. Manages the operation of natural gas processing equipment across all AMP client sites. Handles troubleshooting calls pertaining to all equipment issues. Conducts, documents, and contributes to site visits to ensure compliance with AMP processing standards for all AMP site-specific equipment. Assists in mobilizing and demobilizing packages and related equipment. Oversees Turbine Operators within the region assigned to the Turbine Operations Supervisor. Offers guidance, training, and oversight during the troubleshooting of gas turbines and relevant equipment. Acquires continued proficiency in the use and application of the available software tools. Conducts pre-job and post-job analyses as required. Ensures that operators adhere to safety regulations, standard operating procedures, and workplace standards during task execution. Assists in the development of more efficient work processes, as necessary. Conducts comprehensive evaluations of new control systems and related equipment for gas turbines and other machinery. Performs other related duties as assigned to assist with successful operations and business continuity. Qualifications POSITION REQUIREMENTS Successfully passes all applicable general pre-employment testing including but not limited to: background check, pre-employment drug screening, pre-employment fit tests, pre-employment aptitude and/or competency assessment(s). Valid U.S Driver’s License Ability to Travel Daily in-person, predictable attendance. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE LEVEL High School Diploma or GED. 10-20 Years of experience within industry Previous supervisory experience Knowledge of Equipment Operations (Controls and Logic) Able to read Mechanical and Electrical drawings. QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES Ability to read, write, and comprehend intermediate English. Efficient at Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Ability to read electrical/controls drawings and schematics. Ability to attend, participate, and successfully complete the scheduled New Hire Safety training, including but not limited to H2S, Powered Industrial, and basic First Aid and CPR training. Attends and successfully completes annual safety recertification training. Ability to work a minimum of 12-hour shifts for fourteen consecutive days. Ability to work within a team concept to successfully complete assigned tasks. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve electrical systems issues. Ability to take instruction well and interact with other employees in a positive manner within the framework of assigned work groups. Fully knowledgeable, compliant and takes initiative to promote and work with digital platforms including Active Learner, Paycom, KPA, and other company-mandated systems. For new hires, ability to quickly learn company platforms. Possess strong interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication skills. Capable of communicating in a technical manner with clients, addressing their specific needs and concerns. Advanced knowledge regarding preventative, routine, intermediate and advanced maintenance in addition to the following systems: turbine generators, gas turbine engines, turbine engines, support systems, engine rooms, mechanical systems, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, air systems, PMS, auxiliary systems, steam turbine, fuel systems, electronic circuitry, and combustion turbines. Advanced knowledge of equipment controls and logic. Capability to work independently when required, demonstrating self-motivation and initiative. Adaptability to changing priorities and tasks, demonstrating flexibility in response to evolving work demands. Maintaining a professional demeanor in interactions with colleagues, clients, and other stakeholders.
