SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Previous web sales experience including updating a sales platform, adding images and make new web pages
  • Excellent creative writing skills and a keen eye for detail
  • Creative flair and IT competent using WordPress and WooCommerce
  • Drive seasonal promotions, advertising and maintaining showroom pricing to match promotions
  • Excellent customer service delivered using a friendly and professional attitude
  • Turf industry knowledge or an interest in the industry plus an understanding or interest in the functionality of turf machinery
  • Previous CRM experience
  • Assist with open days and regional shows as required

Responsibilities

THE ROLE

A new e-commerce sales role to drive online turf machinery sales. Based in the showroom, responsible for the content of the Turf Sales web platform, the role would suit someone with technical web sales expertise who is also happy dealing with customers face to face and over the phone.
Hours: 39 hours per week (including a Saturday morning on a 1-in-3 rota basis and time off in lieu)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • To facilitate and process online turf machinery sales
  • Responsible for maintaining the web sales platform with up-to-date pricing, machinery specifications, equipment descriptions and images.
  • Proactively produce relevant product videos and create targeted sales campaigns
  • Work with the existing team to give advice on equipment options and suitability to customers online, in person and over the phone
  • Promote telephone and walk-in sales
  • Creating equipment quotes for customers
  • Use CRM to log all enquiries, opportunities and contacts
  • Offer excellent customer service
  • Communicate with the delivery and installation team to ensure prompt and accurate delivery schedules and follow up after delivery to ensure excellent customer experience.
  • Packing and distribution of products as required
  • Ensure cover in the showroom at weekends as part of a team.
