JOB DESCRIPTION

The Manual Lathe Machine Operator will be required to work with both manual mill and manual lathe machines.

QUALIFICATIONS

• The minimum requirement for the position is 2+ years of experience in both milling and lathes
• We strongly prefer candidates with 5+ years of experience but will consider above
• Must have the ability to lift 50 pounds
• Candidate must be reliable and punctual
• Must be able to work overtime and weekends during the busy season when required

• Must be familiar with machining – primarily Aluminum, MS, Stainless Steel, and soft steel
• Must be efficient at using all machine shop measuring tools including micrometers, veneer calipers, and indicators
• Must have set up experience and understand tooling
• Must be able to read and understand dimension drawings and make parts to the print
• Must be familiar with and be able to perform to a production shop level
• Ability to do various setups without a supervisor
• Other responsibilities as assigned
