SEND TUTORS FOR PRIMARY SCHOOL CHILDREN ARE SOUGHT TO JOIN US TO HELP TRANSFORM THE LIVES OF DISENGAGED CHILDREN ACROSS THE WEYMOUTH AREA.

Would you like to help us create a foundation for each young person’s lasting success? If so, ABC Education invite you to join their Award winning company. We are an approved alternative provision tutoring company providing a service to over 12 counties across the UK.
We are looking for QTS Tutors and Experienced Tutors to work with students either within school or the home environment. Tutors will be required to provide Maths, English, or Science tuition.
This role is perfect for Tutors who can deliver a creative, flexible, holistic approach to learning.

QTS Tutors / Experienced Tutors must have:

  • Professional Teaching Qualifications (Qualified Teacher Status / QTS / QTLS)
  • Minimum of 2 years teaching experience
  • Experience working with young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or other additional educational needs
  • Experience of safeguarding processes and health & safety procedures
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service
  • Two professional references
  • You must be based in the UK and have the right to work in the UK
  • Hold a UK driver’s licens
Responsibilities
  • Working closely with students to provide a project-based curriculum to ignite passion for learning and support re-engagement.
  • Building positive relationships and utilising the best approach for each learner
  • Completing lesson reports and providing feedback on progress
