We are seeking a dedicated, passionate and experienced KS1-KS2 / KS3-KS4 Tutor to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to helping students achieve their academic goals and foster a love for learning. This role involves working closely with students of various ages, providing tailored support in their studies, and creating an engaging learning environment that caters to individual needs.

SKILLS

• Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, with a strong understanding of educational methodologies.
• Experience working with children, demonstrating patience and adaptability to different learning styles.
• Knowledge of special education practices is advantageous, enabling support for diverse learners.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, facilitating clear interactions with students and parents alike.

• Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions in specific subjects or skills.
• Assess students’ strengths and weaknesses to develop personalised learning plans.

• Foster a positive and encouraging atmosphere that motivates students to learn.
• Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding student progress and areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with teachers and other educational professionals to support student learning.
• Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions, including attendance and progress reports.
