Job Summary

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Tutors to inspire and support students in grades 9 through 12 across a variety of subjects, including Math, Chemistry, Physics, and French. This role offers both in-person and online tutoring opportunities, allowing you to connect with students in a flexible and dynamic learning environment. As a Tutor, you will empower students to achieve their academic goals by providing personalized instruction that fosters confidence, critical thinking, and a love for learning. Your expertise will help shape the future of eager learners eager to excel in their studies.

Duties

  • Deliver engaging and tailored tutoring sessions in Math, Chemistry, Physics, and French for high school students both in person and online.
  • Assess each student’s individual needs and develop customized lesson plans that align with their academic goals.
  • Utilize effective teaching strategies to clarify complex concepts and improve students’ understanding of subject material.
  • Support students with homework, exam preparation, and study skills to boost their confidence and academic performance.
  • Maintain clear communication with students and parents regarding progress, challenges, and achievements.
  • Incorporate language skills such as Mandarin, Spanish, Japanese, or French as needed to enhance multilingual learning experiences.
  • Track student progress through regular assessments and adapt teaching methods accordingly to ensure continuous improvement.

Experience

  • Prior experience working with children or teenagers in an educational setting is highly preferred.
  • Proven tutoring or teaching experience in high school-level subjects such as Math, Chemistry, Physics, or French.
  • Classroom experience that demonstrates the ability to manage diverse learning needs effectively.
  • Strong writing skills for creating clear lesson plans, feedback reports, and instructional materials.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; additional language proficiency enhances the tutoring experience.
  • Passion for education with a commitment to fostering a positive and motivating learning environment.
