OVERVIEW

We are seeking dedicated and passionate Tutors to join our educational team in our Hackney centre. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tutoring and experience working with children, This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to create engaging learning experiences Free car parking (subject to availability)
Pay starts from £20 per session (90mins session time)
Monday to Friday 16:30 - 18:00
Saturday 11:30 - 13:00session / 13:00 - 14:30 session (subject to availability)

REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree 2.1 or above, or currently studying at a leading UK university
  • Exceptional GCSE and A-Level results
  • Ability to educate students in a way that is both informative and enjoyable.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping students succeed academically.
  • A relevant degree or qualification in education or a related field is preferred but not essential.
  • Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, particularly with children.
  • Knowledge of special education practices is highly desirable.
  • DBS checks and two references will be taken

Responsibilities
  • Tutoring children (ages 5-16) in small groups.
  • English Maths or Science
  • Develop customised lesson plans that cater to the unique learning styles and requirements of each student.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as necessary to ensure understanding and retention of material.
  • Communicate effectively with students and management regarding student performance and areas for improvement.
  • Assist students with homework, projects, and exam preparation as needed.
  • Need to arrive promptly before the start of each session
