ABOUT US

Tutor Doctor offers one-to-one, personalized tutoring in both in-home and online settings. We serve students across the Fraser Valley, including Abbotsford, Chilliwack, Mission, and Aldergrove.
With the demand for academic support higher than ever, we are especially seeking tutors with strengths in math and science. Our goal is more than helping students improve their grades: we strive to boost their confidence, equip them with strong study skills, and nurture a genuine love for learning. At Tutor Doctor, our mission is to Change the Trajectory of Students’ Lives.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous tutoring or teaching experience is an asset.
• Solid knowledge of Math and/or Science; ability to support additional subjects is a plus.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Patient, flexible, and able to adapt to individual learning styles.
• Reliable transportation for in-home sessions in Abbotsford.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide one-on-one tutoring in Math and Science (with the option to support English and Social Studies as needed).
• Develop tailored lesson plans and strategies that fit each student’s learning needs.
• Assist with homework, projects, and test preparation.
• Monitor progress and share regular feedback with families and the Tutor Doctor team.
• Encourage students to gain confidence, independence, and strong study habits.
