JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Tutor to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tutoring and teaching, with a focus on fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment for students. This role involves working closely with children, including those with special educational needs, to enhance their academic skills and confidence.

EXPERIENCE

• Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, preferably in a formal educational setting.
• Experience working with children, demonstrating an ability to connect with young learners effectively.
• Knowledge of special education practices is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate clear interaction with students and their families.

• Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions tailored to the individual needs of students.
• Develop customised lesson plans that align with the curriculum and address specific learning goals.
• Utilise effective teaching strategies to engage students and promote understanding of subject matter.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to encourage improvement.
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student performance and areas for development.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that accommodates diverse learning styles.
• Collaborate with other educators and support staff to ensure comprehensive support for students, especially those requiring special education assistance.
