JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking dedicated and passionate KS1 - KS4 Tutors in maths, science and English to provide educational support to students in-person. The ideal candidates will hold QTS and at least 1 year UK classroom experience in their specialist subject and age range area. They will possess the ability to communicate effectively with all pupils, and foster a nurturing, positive learning environment that suits their individual learning style. In-person tuition at the tutee’s location is the main aspect of this role although there may be some online option at times.
This role may require on-site work for alternative provision placement at our centre.

REQUIREMENTS

  • At least one year classroom experience.
  • An good subject knowledge and passion for the area that you teach.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey information to students and parents.
  • A commitment to the pupils that you teach where (usually term-time weekly)
  • Knowledge of special education practices is highly desirable.
  • Ability to educate and inspire students, fostering a love for learning.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in helping students succeed academically.
