Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Math and English Tutor to join our team. The tutor must be familiar with the BC curriculum. The Tutor will be responsible for providing academic support and guidance to students, helping them achieve their educational goals.
Duties
- Following the BC curriculum and making sure the right units are being covered
- Work one-on-one with students to provide tutoring in various subjects
- Develop customized lesson plans based on the student’s needs
- Assist students in understanding course materials and homework assignments
- Communicate effectively with students to enhance learning outcomes
- Monitor student progress and adjust tutoring techniques as necessary
Qualifications
-Fluent in English
- Experience working with children
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to educate and explain concepts effectively
- Previous tutoring experience is a plus
- Familiarity with classroom dynamics and teaching methods (BC Curriculum)
*Commuting to North Vancouver is mandatory (Not Remote)
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour
