Responsibilities

TUTOR THE ROLE:

We are growing rapidly and are looking for tutors in all core subjects to join our team. Our students are as diverse as our community, and we actively seek tutors who can meet the varied academic and emotional needs of learners, including those with SEN (Special Educational Needs) and SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) challenges.
We welcome tutors who excel academically, as well as those who can effectively connect with and inspire students on a personal level. You ll play a key role in helping students achieve their potential through tailored tutoring.
The role offers flexibility, with a mix of daytime work in schools and evening/weekend sessions in students’ homes. The amount of work available depends on how much you re looking to take on.
Some tutors may specialise in one or a few subjects, while others may cover a broader range, depending on their knowledge and experience.
Please note: This is a self-employed position.

TUTOR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Deliver one-to-one tutoring sessions in students homes, libraries, or schools
  • Prepare and plan materials for lessons, ensuring sessions are tailored to individual needs
  • Provide feedback via timely session reports using our internal CRM system
  • Teach a range of subjects, including primary-level topics, GCSE, A-Level, and 11+/Common Entrance preparation
  • Manage a flexible schedule with assignments local to your area
