ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

Please read carefully — applicants must meet the following essential criteria:

  • Live within or local to South London and/or Surrey
  • Experience working with children or young people (teaching assistants, teachers, childcare practitioners, nannies, youth workers, mentors etc.)
  • Can commit to weekly, home-based tutoring sessions.
  • Access to a printer — while we provide most materials, tutors are occasionally expected to print resources
  • Educated to degree level (desirable but not essential)
  • Experience supporting children with 11+ or 7+ selective school entry exams (desirable but not essential)
  • SEN experience (desirable but not essential)

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deliver engaging and effective 1:1 tutoring sessions in the student’s home
  • Build strong rapport and trust with the student
  • Adapt your teaching approach to meet individual learning needs
  • Track progress and tailor future sessions accordingly
  • Inspire confidence and a love of learning in your student

    Pay: £20.00 per hour
    Expected hours: 1 – 6 per week

We have three part-time tutor positions available to support students (Primary, GCSE, A-Level) across South London and Surrey. This is a flexible and rewarding role where you’ll be helping young people reach their potential.
