Benefits: Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Job Title: Twaddler Assistant Teacher (2-Year-Old Classroom) Location: The Learning Experience Tega Cay Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM Pay Range: $16–$18 per hour (based on experience and qualifications) Position Overview: The Learning Experience Tega Cay is seeking a dedicated, nurturing, and energetic Twaddlers Teacher to join our team. This position works with children approximately 2 years old, supporting their early development through structured curriculum, play-based learning, and positive guidance. The ideal candidate is passionate about early childhood education, patient, and committed to creating a safe, engaging, and loving classroom environment. Key Responsibilities: Implement The Learning Experience’s proprietary curriculum and daily classroom activities for Twaddlers (2-year-olds). Create a safe, clean, and nurturing classroom environment that supports early learning and development. Supervise children at all times to ensure safety and compliance with state childcare licensing regulations. Encourage language development, social-emotional growth, and independence through play-based learning. Maintain positive and professional communication with families regarding their child’s daily activities and progress. Complete daily reports, classroom documentation, and required licensing paperwork. Support children with daily routines including meals, diapering/potty training, and nap time. Work collaboratively with other teachers and management to maintain classroom ratios and provide coverage as needed. Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development opportunities. Maintain classroom organization, sanitation, and proper toy/material rotation. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required. Experience working with toddlers or in a childcare setting preferred. Ability to meet South Carolina DSS childcare licensing requirements. CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain). Strong communication, teamwork, and classroom management skills. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and actively engage with young children throughout the day. Desired Qualities: Patient, nurturing, and dependable. Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
