TWILIGHT CARE ASSISTANT

Location: Chorley, Lancashire
Service: Astley View Care Home
Salary: £9,172.80 per annum (£12.60 per hour) and overtime paid at £14.10 per hour

Hours: Part-time, 14 hours a week, 6pm - 10pm shifts on a two-week rolling rota:

  • Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday
  • Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Previous experience working in dementia or residential care settings.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with residents and the wider team.
  • Strong understanding of patient confidentiality.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Evermore Care is seeking experienced Care Assistant for our new service at Astley View in Chorley, Lancashire. This role involves providing compassionate, high-quality care to elderly residents in a modern and innovative care environment. You will work closely with the team to ensure each resident receives personalised, thoughtful care tailored to their individual needs and preferences.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide exceptional personal care, including washing, dressing, eating, and toileting.
  • Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as dusting, vacuuming, and changing bed linens.
  • Build strong rapport with residents, staff, and families while maintaining patient confidentiality.
  • Collaborate seamlessly within the multidisciplinary team to ensure residents receive the highest standard of care.
