Shift Details: Mainly M-F Dayshift, with rotating weekend coverage and Holiday and CT on call responsibilities

• Applies knowledge of growth and development to appropriately care for all patients served.
• Operates highly specialized, technical equipment to obtain quality images. Performs IV contrast injections and other skills as required.
• Performs duties associated with processing patients, which may include scheduling, registration, file management and computer processing skills.
• Evaluates, prepares, positions and observes patients with a high degree of professional ethics, care, courtesy, patience and safety.
• Complies with all Carilion Clinic and Imaging policies, procedures and regulatory guidelines.
• Participates in the training of students and staff as assigned.
• Maintains competencies and meets or exceeds standards for each skill performed.
• Maintains required certification for each skill. Enhances personal and professional growth through participation in educational opportunities
