Description

As a TypeScript / React frontend developer

  • You will design and develop modern web applications based on React and TypeScript and connect them to a Java backend via Rest API, in close collaboration with our backend, UX and DevOps team.
  • You will take responsibility for architectural decisions in the frontend (e.g., state management, modularization, API design).
  • You will accompany the development, integration, optimization and support of software solutions, analyzing the requirements while taking into account your coordination with internal and external stakeholders regarding feasibility.
  • You purposefully incorporate software design principles and patterns into projects, taking into account relevant factors such as usability and accessibility (BITV, WCAG).
  • You follow the latest technology trends, especially AI-supported development, evaluate their applicability and thereby continuously develop our frontend standards.
  • You will take on a mentoring role for our juniors to ensure the transfer of knowledge and the further development of our teams.

Your profile

This is what you bring with you

  • Completed studies in (business) informatics or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of experience in developing complex frontend applications with React and TypeScript, ideally in the public sector.
  • A solid understanding of software architecture and design patterns in the frontend context, and ideally experience in full-stack development.
  • Practical experience in conducting unit and surface tests
  • Knowledge of containerization (e.g., Docker) and orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes) as well as in the design of cloud applications and the creation of CI/CD pipelines.
  • Confident handling of common build tools (e.g. Webpack, Grunt), NPM, GIT, JIRA, Confluence and Jenkins
  • Very good German (C1) and good English skills (B2) in spoken and written form

That's what makes you unique.

  • You work confidently in heterogeneous project teams with the client's employees, treat all participants as equals, and actively seek professional and technical exchange.
  • Structured and transparent work is a matter of course for you, including comprehensible documentation and clear communication in tickets and votes.
  • You represent technical positions clearly and constructively to the client and project partners, and remain solution-oriented even in demanding discussions.
  • Your work style reflects your ability to act independently, as does your ability to research solutions independently, adhere to project guidelines, and have a genuine interest in new developments related to AI-supported software development.
