Responsibilities

YOUR ROLE.

As a Tyre Fitter at Hedin Automotive BMW & MINI, you’ll be responsible for carrying out tyre inspections, fittings, repairs, and related stock control. Working within our fast-paced Service Department, you’ll ensure all work meets BMW UK standards while delivering a seamless and professional experience to every customer. This hands-on role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining the high standards expected of our brand.
In this role, you’ll be representing both Hedin Automotive and the BMW brand, so professionalism, attention to detail, and great customer interaction are key. It’s a great opportunity for someone who enjoys technical work and thrives in a team.

THE MAIN DUTIES OF THE ROLE INCLUDE:

  • Carry out vehicle inspections and assess tyre requirements
  • Fit new tyres, repair punctures, perform wheel alignments and check TPMS
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and exceed customer expectations
  • Meet or exceed departmental KPIs and targets
  • Work closely with the Parts Department to manage tyre stock and report any losses or damage
  • Maintain accurate records in Kerridge and follow all company processes
  • Keep accessory displays updated and support sales initiatives
  • Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety policies and maintain a clean, safe workspace
  • Collaborate with colleagues across departments to deliver seamless service
  • Assist in resolving customer complaints in line with company policy
  • Drive safely on-site, adhering to all site safety protocols
