JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Tyre Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of tyres on various vehicles. This role requires a strong understanding of tyre technology and safety practices, as well as the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. A successful Tyre Technician will ensure that all work is performed to the highest standards of quality and safety.

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous experience as a Tyre Technician or in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with using an Ohmmeter and other diagnostic tools is advantageous.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with attention to detail.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks throughout the day.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.

• Inspect tyres for wear and damage, ensuring they meet safety standards.
• Install and balance new tyres on vehicles, using appropriate tools and equipment.
• Repair punctured tyres and perform tire rotations as needed.
• Utilize an Ohmmeter to test electrical systems related to tire pressure monitoring systems.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and addressing concerns regarding tire maintenance.
• Keep accurate records of services performed on each vehicle.
